Here're a few of LI profile maintenance tips:
Update your Profile
It's been a while since I updated my profile. I removed these:- Salesforce.com Consulting
- Marionette.js
- RRDTool
- UML
- SOAP
- DB2
- Websphere
- SOA
- Functional Programming
- Cloud Computing
- Blockchain
- Cryptocurrency
- Protocol Buffers
- SSL Certificates
- Payment Systems
- Bash
It's not that I forgot how to build an IBM Websphere app, how to use SOAP or how to build a Salesforce app ... I simply have no interest in doing those things again!
Turn off your Activity Broadcasts
.. Unless, of course, you want folks to know! When you make a change to your profile, your contacts will be notified on their news feed. Even after doing something as simple as correcting a typo.
Don't annoy your contacts if you're making a lot of profile changes. They won't thank you, but you will avoid pissing them off.
